🎓 My first 𝐁𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐂, and my first trip to the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬, really was one to remember! 📊
Over the past few days at #BCERC2026, I had the pleasure of presenting the paper, '𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳?', in which Arjan van Dorsselaer, Prof. Dr. habil. Christiana Weber and I are engaging with 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 in 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 from a 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞.
Beyond the valuable insights and feedback I was fortunate to gather for this project, I was truly impressed by the sheer breadth and diversity of research presented throughout the conference; from innovative theoretical perspectives to creative methodological approaches, the paper sessions offered a constant stream of thought-provoking ideas that challenged many of my assumptions and demonstrated how vibrant and impactful entrepreneurship research can be!
The 𝐁𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐂 community felt really welcoming, where anybody from junior researchers to the upper echelons of the field were readily engaging me in socializing and small talk, but also in really thought-provoking discussions; meeting researchers from different countries, institutions, and research traditions really highlighted the rich diversity of this community of entrepreneurship scholars, such as
